Cyclist dies after oil tanker collision

A CYCLIST has died following a collision with an oil tanker yesterday (Tues) morning.

The man in his 40s was involved in the collision in Horse Race Lane in Failand just after 10am.

He was airlifted to Frenchay Hospital with serious injuries, but died this morning.

The road was closed for around four hours while enquiries were taking place, and Avon and Somerset Constabulary are appealing for witness or anyone with information to come forward by calling the Collision Investigation Unit on 101.
