THE 99TH birthday of Clevedon’s independent cinema was celebrated with balloons given to young cinema goers.
The milestone was marked by staff at The Curzon Community Cinema in Old Church Road on April 20.
Lucky audience members who went along to watch the film Rango on that day were given balloons as they left.
With the Curzon’s centenary next year, a series of events are currently being planned to mark the historic achievement.
