Children at Crockerne Primary School have been wearing blue in recognition of this year’s Mucopolysaccharide (MPS) Awareness Day.
MPS Awareness Day is a campaign aimed at raising the profile of the various types of the disease - a rare, genetic condition that can affect many parts of the body.
To support the cause, children at the school donated £1 to wear blue mufti which will go to the MPS Society, a group which helps to fund vital research and support families affected by the disease.
