The following cases were completed at North Somerset Courthouse between August 17-23:

* Marcus Dunkerton (30), of Kenn Moor Drive, Clevedon. Drink-driving: 12-month community order with requirement to carry out 120 hours’ unpaid community work, ordered to pay �50 compensation plus �85 costs, banned from driving for three years. Two counts of possessing class A drug: No separate penalty.

* Claire Stephens (49), of Northleaze, Long Ashton. Three counts of theft: 12-month community order.

* David Chapman (49), of Marine Parade, Pill. Assault: Five-month community order with curfew, ordered to pay �50 compensation plus �85 costs. Drink-driving: Banned from driving for 22 months. Driving without a licence: No separate penalty. Driving without insurance: No separate penalty. Failure to stop when instructed by police: No separate penalty. Failure to stop at accident: No separate penalty. Driving without due care and attention: No separate penalty.

* Lisa Wintersgill (33), of Kenn Street, Clevedon. Driving without due care and attention: Fined �200 plus �85 costs and �15 victim surcharge. Failure to stop after an accident: Fined �400 and licence endorsed with six penalty points. Failure to report an accident: Fined �400.
