The following cases were heard at North Somerset Courthouse from October 17 to November 2.
* Christine Corrigan, no fixed abode (46). Theft: 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £62.50 compensation.
* Colin Rossiter, Lampton Road, Long Ashton (40). Theft: fined £40 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge.
* Clare Hinton, Lower Down Road, Portishead (44). Fraud through false representation: 26-week suspended prison sentence and ordered to pay £85 costs and £115 victim surcharge.
* Shane Stephens, Bramley Copse, Long Ashton (20). Three counts of theft and three counts of breaching criminal behaviour order: 12-week prison sentence and ordered to pay £115 compensation.
