A 43-year-old man has denied breaking into a charity shop and stealing hundreds of pounds.
Stephen Chadwick, from Pill, pleaded not guilty to one count of theft when appearing at North Somerset Courthouse.
He is accused of stealing a safe containing £233, keys, security codes and a £60 float from the St Peter’s Hospice shop in Portishead High Street.
Chadwick, of Bank Place, has been bailed and will stand trial on January 18.
