The following cases were completed at North Somerset Courthouse between November 15 and January 3:

* Paul Cherry (35), of Pembroke Road, Portishead. Possession of an offensive weapon: Eight weeks in prison suspended for 12 months, ordered to pay £85 costs and £80 victim surcharge.

* Kathleen Hammonds (51), of Malin Parade, Portishead. Theft: Two-month community order with curfew, ordered to pay £60 victim surcharge and £16.98 compensation.

* Jacob Lewis (18), of Westbourne Avenue, Clevedon. Two counts of assault: 12-month community order with 12-week curfew, ordered to carry out 150 hours’ unpaid community work, and pay £300 compensation, £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge.

* Michael Grace (57), of Miles Close, Pill. Drink-driving: Fined £110 plus £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge, banned from driving for 23 months.

* Sam Bovey (25), of West Hill, Portishead. Two counts of theft: 12-month community order, six week curfew, ordered to pay £170 costs and £120 victim surcharge.

* Steven Lyons (56), of Hardwick Road, Pill. Theft: 12-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £85 costs and £15 victim surcharge.

* Nathaniel Clemens (21), of The Ridge, Yatton.Drink-driving: Fined £255 plus £85 costs and £25 victim surcharge, banned from driving for 38 months. Possession of class B drug: Fined £25.

* Louis Littleton (24), of Ridgeway, Nailsea. Assault: Six-week community order and curfew, ordered to pay £85 costs, £60 victim surcharge and £50 compensation. Threatening behaviour: No separate penalty.

* Lee Parnaby (21), of Bristol Road, Portishead. Theft: Sent to jail for four months. Assault: Four months in prison (concurrent). Possession of class A drug: Four months in prison (concurrent). Assaulting a police officer: Four months in prison (concurrent).

* Barbara Cooper (56), of Church View, Nailsea. Drink-driving: 60-day community order and curfew, ordered to pay £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge, banned from driving for three years.

* Adam Smith (26), of Kenn Road, Clevedon. Driving while unfit through drink: Sent to prison for 12 weeks. Failure to stop after an accident: Four weeks in prison (consecutive).

* Christopher Harris (26), of Clevedon Road, Weston-in-Gordano. Drink-driving: Fined £400 plus £85 costs and £40 victim surcharge, banned from driving for 20 months.

* William Neill (20), of Tickenham Road, Clevedon. Assault: Three months in prison suspended for 12 months, ordered to carry out 150 hours’ unpaid community work, and pay £150 compensation, £85 costs and £80 victim surcharge.

* Benjamin Stokes (43), of Alexandria Road, Clevedon. Assault: 12-month community order, ordered to complete 80 hours’ unpaid community work, and pay £100 compensation, £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge. Criminal damage: No separate penalty.

* Sean Guy (26), of Southfield Road, Nailsea. Drink-driving: Fined £240 plus £85 costs and £24 victim surcharge, banned from driving for 16 months. Driving without insurance: Fined £240.

* Michael Fennah (44), of Newfoundland Way, Portishead. Drink-driving: 12-month community order, six-month curfew, ordered to pay £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge, and banned from driving for 52 months. Driving while disqualified: No separate penalty. Driving without insurance: No separate penalty. Driving without a licence: No separate penalty.

* Philip Rogers (61), of Mitford Slade Court, Yatton. Driving without due care and attention: Fined £80 plus £35 costs and £20 victim surcharge, licence endorsed with five penalty points.
