The following cases were completed at North Somerset Courthouse between December 12-16:
* Adam Taylor (27), of Orchard Avenue, Tickenham. Possession of class B drug: Fined �80, ordered to pay �85 costs and �15 victim surcharge.
* Gemma Thomas (24), of Ridge Close, Portishead. Theft: One-year community order, ordered to pay �85 costs.
* Gary Day (46), of Ruddymead, Clevedon. Assaulting a police officer: 16 weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months, ordered to pay �100 compensation plus �85 costs. Threatening behaviour: No separate penalty. Possession of an offensive weapon: No separate penalty.
* Laura Matthews (21), of Goshawk Drive, Portishead. Failure to report an accident: Fined �100 plus �85 costs and �15 victim surcharge, banned from driving for 28 days. Failure to stop at scene of accident: No separate penalty.
