AN 80-YEAR-OLD former teacher living in Clevedon has been charged with sexual offences against children.
The offences relate to the time Roy Ball was a teacher at a school in Lancashire in the 1970s.
The charges, three of which are for sexual assault on three victims aged eight to 12, come following an investigation launched by Lancashire police in November.
Mr Ball, of Edward Road South, has also been charged with 14 counts of possession of indecent images of children.
Mr Ball was a teacher at Rossall School in Fleetwood, a private school, at the time of the alleged sexual assault offences.
