The following court cases were heard at North Somerset Courthouse, in St Georges near Weston-super-Mare, from January 15-26.
* Matthew Hewitt (30), High Street, Portishead. Two counts of harassment: 12-month community order and ordered to pay £860.62 compensation and £310 costs.
* Jack Read (23), of Westbourne Crescent, Clevedon. Breach domestic violence protection order: Fined £50. Two counts of assault: five-week suspended prison sentence and ordered to pay £50 compensation. Two counts of theft: No separate penalty. Fraud: five-week suspended prison sentence (consecutive) and ordered to pay £128.10 compensation. Failure to attend drug appointment: No separate penalty.
* Peter Eaton (62), of Church Lane, Backwell. Drink-driving: Disqualified from driving for 29 months, 12-month community order and ordered to pay £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge.
