The following cases were heard at North Somerset Courthouse from May 8-14:
* Steven Careslade, Cherry Avenue, Clevedon (35). Two counts of theft: community order and ordered to pay £97.15 compensation and £85 victim surcharge.
* Adam Mobbs, Mariners Way, Pill (19). Assault police officer: community order and ordered to pay £100 compensation, £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge.
* Edgard Michalkevic, no fixed abode (28). Driving without valid insurance: six penalty points, fined £200 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge.
