The following cases were heard at North Somerset Courthouse between December 18 and January 2.
* James Groves, Summerhouse, Tickenham (37). Driving while disqualified: disqualified from driving for four months, fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge. Driving without valid insurance: no separate penalty.
* Simon Whitham, Greenfield Close, Nailsea (54). Drink-driving: disqualified from driving for three years, community order and ordered to pay £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge.
* Christopher Smith, Cambridge Road, Clevedon (33). Assault: six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £100 compensation.
