The fire spread to two properties.


A fire spread to two properties in Clevedon last night (Sunday).

Avon Fire and Rescue Service was called out to the blaze in Oldville Avenue at 9.34pm.

Crews from Clevedon, Nailsea, Avonmouth and a turntable ladder from Weston attended the incident.

Firefighters in breathing apparatus used high pressure hose reels and 45mm jets to extinguish the blaze.

Crews worked alongside South Western Ambulance Service, Avon and Somerset Constabulary and utility companies.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
