MORE than �500 was raised for Parkinson’s UK during a cream tea event in Clevedon.
The afternoon fundraiser was put on at The Hawthorn’s retirement complex in Elton Road on Saturday.
From Friday to Sunday, residents also put on their own arts and crafts exhibition with a wide range of pieces created as far back as the 1950s put on display to the public.
More than 60 pieces included fine art, woodwork, metalwork, pottery, knitting, needlework and photography.
