Three youths were arrested after vandals struck a park

The following cases were completed at North Somerset Courthouse between October 21 and November 12:

- Julien Ford (45), of Pizey Avenue, Clevedon. Assault with intent to resist arrest: Sent to prison for three weeks. Failure to surrender: Sent to prison for seven days (concurrent).

- Richard Ford (42), of Woodland Road, Nailsea. Two counts of harassment: Sent to prison for four weeks.

- Shane Capern (22), of Greenfield Crescent, Nailsea. Possession of class B drug: Fined £45 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £15 victim surcharge.

- Joseph Hale (25), of Moorfield Road, Backwell. Possession of class B drug: Fined £135 plus £85 costs and £15 victim surcharge.

- George Poole (26), of The Avenue, Clevedon. Drink-driving: Fined £250 plus £85 costs and £15 victim surcharge and banned from driving for 12 months.

- Stephen Brown (44), of Church Hayes Drive, Nailsea. Possession of class B drug: One-year community order, with requirement to carry out 100 hours’ unpaid community work and pay £85 costs. Possession of class A drug: No separate penalty.

- Virginia Buckley (45), of Claverham Road, Yatton. Allowing dangerous dog to be out of control: 12-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £250 compensation plus £35 costs.

- Jack Scott (18), of Channel View Crescent, Portishead. Burglary: Five months’ detention suspended for 12 months, ordered to carry out 100 hours’ unpaid community work, pay £500 compensation and £100 costs.

- Paul Clift (30), of Stowey Road, Yatton. Theft: Two months in prison. Breach of suspended sentence: Four months in prison (consecutive).

- Michael Richards (22), of Old Street, Clevedon. Assault: One-year community order, with requirement to carry out 80 hours’ unpaid community work and pay £85 costs. Criminal damage: Ordered to pay £150 compensation.

- Darren Gardiner (48), of Station Road, Congresbury. Assault: 18-month community order, one-year restraining order, ordered to pay £85 costs.

- Steven Morgan (48), of Beach Road East, Portishead. Two counts of assault: 18-month community order, with requirement to carry out 40 hours’ unpaid community work, ordered to pay £150 compensation plus £150 costs.

- Joseph Perry (26), of Westfield, Clevedon. Two counts of indecent exposure: 12-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £500 compensation.

- Michael Paxton (36), of Godwin Drive, Nailsea. Drink-driving: Fined £300 plus £85 costs and £15 victim surcharge, banned from driving for 18 months.

- Mandy Whittle (40), of Baltic Place, Pill. Assault: Four weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months, ordered to pay £50 compensation plus £85 costs.

- Michael Hampton (20), of Shaftesbury Close, Nailsea. Possession of class B drug: Fined £175 plus £85 costs and £15 costs. Failure to surrender: No separate penalty.

- David Randall (40), of Fosse Way, Nailsea. Assault: One-year community order, ordered to pay £85 costs.
