The following cases were heard from November 21- January 3 at North Somerset Courthouse in St Georges:

* Sophie Irish (22), of Station Road, Clevedon. Drink-driving: Fined £280 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge, banned from driving for 22 months.

* Stuart Henley-Smith (34), of Claverham Drove, Claverham. Drug-driving: Fined £300 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge, banned from driving for one year.

* Jessica Parsons (38), of Channel View Crescent, Portishead. Harassment: 12-month community order with two-year restraining order, fined £100 and ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge.

* Carly Ackland (19), of Coxway. Clevedon. Damaging a vehicle which was taken without the owner’s consent: Two-month community order with curfew, ordered to pay £300 compensation, £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge, banned from driving for 12 months. Driving without a licence: No separate penalty. Driving without insurance: No separate penalty.

* Lisa Wilson (25), of Briary Road, Portishead. Two counts of theft: Two-month community order with curfew, ordered to pay £85 costs, £85 victim surcharge and £111.87 compensation. Attempted theft: Ordered to pay £53.59 compensation.

* Scott Shellard (42), of Stoneyfields, Easton-in-Gordano. Criminal damage: Fined £250 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge.

* Jason Bailey (29), of Hillside Road, Portishead. Driving while disqualified: Six weeks in prison, banned from driving for 12 months. Driving without insurance: No separate penalty. Theft: Four weeks in prison (concurrent). Possession of class B drug: One week in prison (concurrent). Assault: 26 weeks in prison (concurrent). Breach of suspended sentence: One week in prison (concurrent).

* Dwayne Samuels (32), of Yew Tree Gardens, Nailsea. Six counts of theft: Sent to prison for four weeks, ordered to pay £115 victim surcharge.

* Steven Balchin (28), of Well Park, Congresbury. Assaulting a police officer: Two-year community order with requirement to carry out 140 hours’ unpaid community work, ordered to pay £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge. Assault: No separate penalty. Criminal damage: No separate penalty.

* Kaine Gazzard (21), of Shelley Avenue, Clevedon. Drink-driving: Fined £175 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge, banned from driving for 12 months.

* Thomas Linham (21), of Cricket Field Green, Nailsea. Drink-driving: Fined £208 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge, banned from driving for 17 months.
