The following cases were heard at North Somerset Courthouse between October 3-16.

* Raymond Hislop, Griffin Road, Clevedon (53). Drug-driving: disqualified from driving for six months, fined £80 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge.

* Marius Suleru, Moor Lane, Clevedon (26). Drink-driving: disqualified from driving for 18 months, fined £160 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge.

* Andrew Bonner, Maynard Close, Clevedon (49). Criminal damage: 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge.

* Natalie Dixon, Silver Street, Nailsea (24). Driving without valid insurance: disqualified from driving for two months, fined £300 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge.

* Carolyn Iles, Sercombe Park, Clevedon (55). Speeding: three penalty points, fined £124 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge.

* Emma Hurkett, no fixed abode (34). Begging in public: six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge.

* Darren McMullen, no fixed abode (39). Begging in public: six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge.

* Christopher Woolfall-Bray, Stowey Road, Yatton (18). Drug-driving: disqualified from driving for 16 months, fined £162 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge.

* Slionys Zydrunas, no fixed abode (42). Possession of weapon in public place: four-month prison sentence and ordered to pay £115 victim surcharge.

* Luke Gibbs, Hyatts Wood Road, Backwell (36). Assault causing actual bodily harm: 12-week suspended prison sentence and ordered to pay £1,000 compensation, £300 costs and £115 victim surcharge.

* Aaron Macfarlane, Nightingale Rise, Portishead (30). Use mobile phone while driving: fined £290 and ordered to pay £775 costs and £30 victim surcharge. Driving vehicle without valid MOT: fined £290.
