A FREE course is being offered to help people respond to domestic abuse.
The half-day programme run by Safer and Stronger North Somerset Domestic Abuse Strategy Group is aimed at anyone who may come across someone living or dealing with domestic abuse.
More than 6,000 women experience domestic abuse every year in North Somerset and one in six men are also said to be affected.
The course will run from 9.30am-1pm at Clevedon Community Association in Princes Road on February 18 and April 8 and Scotch Horn Leisure Centre in Brockway, Nailsea, on February 26 and March 26.
