There are just a few weeks to go until Nailsea’s popular skate festival, which attracts fans from across the South West.

Competitors will take to the slopes of Millennium Park to compete on their skateboards, scooters and BMXs.

There will also be plenty of action outside the skate park to keep families entertained including a climbing wall, football cage, bouncy castle, demonstrations and stalls from community groups and lots to eat and drink.

Nailsea Community Skate Festival is running from 1-5pm on June 8 in Millennium Park, off Brockway.

A team of 50 volunteers helped to prepare the facility for the event during a spring clean.

Organisers would like to thank everyone involved in planning the event.

The festival is funded through donations and profits made on the day.
