PORTISHEAD Town Council has welcomed Jo Duffy to her new post of town clerk.

Jo has been a clerk for parish council’s since 2004, first at Banwell Parish Council and then at Congresbury.

The 43-year-old says she is very excited to be taking on the role and is looking forward to working with the staff and Portishead town councillors.
