Community celebrates apple day

Apple cake, scones and juice were on the menu at Nailsea’s community apple day on Saturday afternoon.

Transition Town Nailsea put on the event in the tithe barn to celebrate the town’s orchards.

People took along their apples to be pressed into juice and visitors were also able to tuck into some delicious cakes made by volunteers.

This is the fourth year the group has organised the apple day.
