A CREATIVE animal-lover from Clevedon has begun making jewellery to raise money for a North Somerset charity.
The colourful creations of Zelah Ellis have gone on sale at the Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary shop in The Triangle, helping to collect cash for the Barrow Gurney facility.
Zelah, aged 28 of Moor Park, makes necklaces, brooches and hair bows for the shop, where she also volunteers as a window dresser.
Zelah, who also works full-time as a team leader at Tesco, said: “Before Holly Hedge, I was a volunteer for cancer research for two years and six months, so, being a volunteer for the last few years has always been a very rewarding hobby.
“My reasons for helping Holly Hedge are due to my love for animals.”
