Clevedon Middle Yeo Surf Life Saving club has handed over thousands of pounds to a children’s charity.

The club, which swims all year round from its base in The Beach, raised more than £1,500 for Reach, a charity which supports children with upper limb deficiency and their families.

The money was raised by various activities held by the club throughout the past year, including the traditional New Year’s Day swim in Marine Lake, a host of coffee mornings and breakfast and lunch events on the beach.
