Jenny Hein is part of Exeter University First Aid Society (EUFAS) where she is studying medical sciences.

The 22-year-old former Clevedon School pupil, has volunteered with St John Ambulance for two years and hopes to become a GP specialising in sports and nutrition.

She will run the Bath Half Marathon in March for the charity while her fundraising team will be running a total of 100 miles between them.

Jenny said: “I wanted to do the Bath Half Marathon for St John Ambulance as I have seen first hand the amazing work this charity does and am keen to support it in every way I can.”

St John Ambulance director of fundraising Katrina Hodges added: “We’re extremely grateful to Jenny for her support.”
