Secondary school students penned an exciting murder mystery script to help raise money for charity.

Pupils at Clevedon School have been working on their first murder mystery project at the school, in collaboration with Inner Wheel.

They have written their own script and will be performing to a paying audience with all proceeds going to Brain Box.

The plot of Murder Du Vin was corroboratively written by both students at the youth theatre and teacher Victoria Wright.

The story follows a victim being found in the wine cellar of Barrel Manor after attempting an April Fool's joke.

It is down to the audience and investigators Matilda Du Vin and her sidekick Poppy Prosecco to solve the case.

Director of youth theatre, Victoria Wright, said: "I'm so happy to be working with Inner Wheel and giving them this opportunity.

"We can't wait to help raise lots of money for Brain Box."
