Clevedon people will host a street party in celebration of the royal wedding next month and the event will support a pair of charities.

Coleridge Vale Road South will host the celebration on May 19 to mark the marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The event is due to start at noon with the national anthem before family games and entertainment, and a flag parade are held.

Organiser Marie-Dominique Demers-King said: “We will be enjoying cakes and food surrounded by bunting and flags with everyone in red, white and blue.

“There will be all sorts of activities going on like nail and face painting, as well as a bouncy castle all day.”

All proceeds will go to the Perthes Association and Springboard opportunity Group.

Tickets to the party, priced £10 per family, are available from 32 or 66 Coleridge Vale Road South.
