Hundreds of people have paid tribute to the armed forces during a parade in Clevedon.
The Royal British Legion’s (RBL) annual parade saw the City of Bristol Pipes and Drums lead from the Salthouse Fields, joined by the Avonmouth Sea Cadets and Army Cadet Force and Air Training Cadets, before a ceremony at the bandstand in Elton Road.
Bob Blackwell, chairman of the Clevedon RBL branch, said: “Members of the public were out in support on the route and at the bandstand.
“The salute was taken by Major Robert Macdonald, RBL county chairman and leader of Clevedon Town Council Mrs Linda Little.
“The drumhead service with sea cadets laying the drums was led by Captain Michael Eden and the Salvation Army Band.
“I felt it was a well attended and successful event.”
