A Clevedon duo joined 57 cyclists in a 430km bike ride to Paris for charity.
Becky and Dan Milnor had to tackle hilly terrain and humidity as they cycled from Ashton Court, in Long Ashton, through Salisbury along the southern coast before catching a ferry to Caen.
The bike ride was raising money for Above and Beyond and will be going towards a new 3D ultrasound scanner at the fetal medicine unit at St Michael’s Hospital in Bristol.
The state-of-the-art piece of equipment costs £150,000 and will provide better quality fetal images and will play a vital role in in-utero procedures.
Becky and Dan arrived in Paris in 30C heat and raised almost £4,500 for the charity, including a £150 contribution from the Gordano Masonic Lodge.
The lodge is keen to support other local causes.
