Nursery children in Clevedon have had an 'amazing' visit to Clevedon Fire Station.
Staff at Rydal Day Nursery in Albert Road took the infants to the station to meet officers and have a tour of the Old Street premises.
Parents and grandparents also joined in the fun and got to learn more about the fire service and the life-saving work it does.
Nursery manager Emma Binding said: “We had the most amazing time.
“We met fire officer James and fire officer Sam who gave us a tour of the fire station, smoke house and training tower.
“We then got to see the fire officers in their protective clothing and we tried it on.
“Then came the fire engine – we sat in it, explored it and heard the siren.
“It was an excellent adventure and our learning was brought to life.
“It was great to see so many parents and grandparents join us at the station.”
