A music club is appealing for larger audiences ahead of its new season.

Clevedon Music Club will host a programme of eight concerts starting with a performance by violinist and pianist, Dennis Simons, alongside fellow pianist Penelope Simons at 7.30pm on September 19.

Each show will be held at the community centre’s Teignmouth Room in Princes Road, with future acts including the Dorian String Quartet and Miscellany.

A spokesman for the club said: “The music club is keen to attract new listeners, including people who are new to concert-going, and everyone is warmly welcome to come to any of the events for £9 per evening at the door, to pay a subscription of £28 for four concerts, or £52 to attend all eight concerts.

“This is an amazingly economical way to enjoy some of the country’s top professionals in a friendly local venue.”
