The Clevedon Light Opera Club will put on Chess The Musical next month.

The show will be the club’s first performance in its 70th year so is set to be a great one.

The story follows a love triangle between two players in a world chess championship and a woman who manages one and falls in love with the other.

With lyrics from famed author and lyricist Tim Rice and music from Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson, formerly of ABBA, there are a number of great songs – including most notably, I Know Him So Well.

The show will run from March 12-16 at 7.30pm at the Princes Hall, in Princes Road.

Tickets, priced £6-12, are available from www.clevedonlightoperaclub.co.uk or alternatively from Souk, in The Triangle, or 07971 553911.
