Alex Bridger and her sons Ethan, aged 10, and Felix, aged six, decided to help people in need by carrying out sponsored litter picks.

Alex said: "Ethan and Felix, worry every time we see a homeless person, they always
ask me what we can do to help them.

"I talked to them about the idea of raising money for a charity and they were really keen."

The family came up with the idea to raise money for homeless charity, Caring in Bristol, while also helping communities.

They have pledged to complete a litter pick at least once a week until Christmas and are hoping to raise £500.

They have cleaned up areas in Clevedon, Nailsea and towns and villages they visit at the weekend.
