A physiotherapy service for dogs has opened in Clevedon.

Anna Richards worked as a chartered physiotherapist in the NHS for 10 years and also holds a post-graduate qualification in veterinary physiotherapy, meaning she is able to transfer her skills and experience into the animal world.

Anna, who is based in Kelting Grove, said: “I love working with dogs, they all have their individual character and needs so they always keep me on my toes.”

“I set up my business as there is no-one in the area that offers a canine-specific service and so by focusing all my attention on developing and using treatment techniques that are effective for dogs I can deliver high quality rehabilitation after surgery, injury or for aches and pains.”

The service is also mobile meaning Anna can travel directly to pets’ homes to offer her range of services which include soft tissue massage, stretches and electrotherapy.
