Villagers gathered in numbers to attend a North Somerset church’s annual summer fete, which boasted an impressive range of stalls and attractions.

Cleeve’s Holy Trinity Church, in Main Road, welcomed villagers on July 2 to its annual fete, with guests enjoying the summer sunshine and a jam-packed afternoon of fun.

A beautiful selection of vibrant flowers at Trevor and Valerie Horsley’s plant stall was one of the most popular attractions, while others preferred the works of baking enthusiasts, who turned out in force and served up a delicious range of indulgent treats.

One of the highlights of the fete was a barbecue which sold produce from nearby Church Farm, with guests queuing up to get their hands on a locally-sourced burger or hot dog.

The fete also featured a number of classic games and stalls which families enjoyed, including hoopla, a tombola and find the truffle.
