A CLASSROOM at St Peter’s Primary School in Portishead was transformed into a stable for a living nativity.
The half-hourly shows were just one of many activities and events organised as part of the school Christmas fair. Santa and his helper saw scores of children, filling a sack with requests from the young hopefuls.
The event raised more than 2,500, which will be used to fund a new library system and reading corners throughout the school.
