After a sell-out show in 2018, a hugely popular outdoor film event will return to Portishead next month.
Portishead Open Air Pool, in Esplanade Road, will be transformed into a cinema on September 7 when it hosts a screening of the critically-acclaimed Bohemian Rhapsody under the stars.
The film, released in 2018, is a celebration of the career of Queen lead vocalist Freddie Mercury and received high praise from critics - scooping four Academy Awards.
Open-air pool spokesman Barbara Thatcher said: "Tickets were released last week by the Curzon box office and are already selling fast.
"The event is being staged as part of a three-day event in collaboration with the Curzon cinema in Clevedon, with outdoor performances of Fisherman's Friends and Yesterday at the Salthouse Fields on September 5 and September 6 respectively."
Tickets, priced £12, are available online at www.curzon.org.uk
