A NAILSEA church christened its new home with a visit from the Bishop of Bath and Wells.
The Right Reverend Peter Price joined Trendlewood Church at its new home in Golden Valley School on April 17.
The church, which was founded by Holy Trinity Church in 1989, first met in people’s homes and pubs and then St Francis School.
Church leaders decided to uproot to the congregation to its new base in Nailsea Park so it can be at the heart of its community.
Rev Steve Tilley said: “The service went really well. We had about 50 per cent more people than usual and the bishop spoke very well.”
