A CHARITY concert in Kenn raised �1,000 for good causes.
St John’s Church put on Autumn by Candlelight, an evening of words and music, to collect cash for Penny Brohn Cancer Care and church funds.
A condensed version of Romeo and Juliet saw team vicar, Prebendary John Andrews, playing the victims, alongside church warden Julia Bush and organiser Robin Mackay.
There were also performances by a flautist and singers as well as a number of readings.
