Christingle service for The Children’s Society
CANDLELIGHT flickered around St Andrew’s Church in Backwell as families enjoyed a Christingle service.
Brownies, rainbows, cubs and beavers attended the event on November 28 and each child was given a Christingle to light up the church.
The service was organised by The Children’s Society and members of the congregation donated Christmas presents to the charity for children less fortunate than themselves.
