A WOMEN’S barbershop choir featuring singers from across North Somerset proved a hit at a recent national competition.
The Bristol Fashion Chorus was placed eighth out of 40 during a barbershop convention held in Telford last month, organised by the Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers.
With more than 60 singers ranging in age from 15 to 75, the chorus practices in Withywood but attracts women from Nailsea, Clevedon, Portishead, Backwell, and Long Ashton.
