THOUSANDS of fundraisers across North Somerset donned fancy dress, held sponsored walks, made cakes and covered themselves in spots to raise money for Children in Need.

Children from All Saints Primary School in Clevedon dressed up as superheroes while pupils from 
Backwell Junior School and children from Gemini Gymnastics Club in Nailsea decorated themselves in spots.

Youngsters from Crockerne 
Primary School in Pill came to school in their onesies and pyjamas and held a sponsored walk and bake off in their nightwear.

Chefs from St Nicholas Chantry Primary School made cakes to sell to their peers and children from 
Tickenham Primary School decorated their teddy bears.

Staff and pupils from West Leigh Infants School took their spare change in to lessons to cover a Pudsey Bear with coins and pupils from 
Hannah More Infants and 
Grove Juniors in Nailsea 
donated money to wear their onesies to class.

In Portishead, St Peter’s Primary School held a pyjama party, staff at Greggs baked Pudsey cup cakes, Brampton Preschool enjoyed a teddy bears’ picnic and pupils from 
Trinity Primary School dressed as superheroes.

All the money raised will be donated to Children in Need which helps disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.
