Children helped to decorate a giant butterfly sculpture in Nailsea town centre.

Crown Glass Shopping Centre invited Lucy Jackson and Bob Coombes to run some creative sessions for youngsters in the school holidays.

Crafty shoppers added a touch of colour to the giant insect. They were also able to make their own miniature butterflies to take home with them.

Centre manager Rob Stokell said: “We focused our Easter family activities around literature and art with storytelling sessions last week and art workshops today.”

Crown Glass runs family activities every Wednesday during school holidays.
