THOSE in need will benefit from the generous donations of Clevedon children this autumn.

Pupils at Yeo Moor Primary School handed over numerous tins and packets of food at their school’s harvest festival and they will now be given to the town’s foodbank.

Clevedon Foodbank opened at Hither Green Industrial Estate in June to provide food parcels to families and individuals who care professionals believe are struggling to provide for themselves.

In exchange for a voucher given out by such workers, those in need are given a three-day grocery supply.
