TWO cheques for £2,000 have been handed over to charity this week.

The money has been donated to The Brain Tumour Charity and also The British Institute for Brain Injured Children (BIBIC) after it was raised by nine mums from the town.

They organised a Christmas charity ball which was held at The Venue in Slade Road and exceeded all of their fundraising expectations for two causes close to their hearts.
