A CHEERLEADING squad from Nailsea came away from its first competition with an impressive second place achievement.

Members of Gemini-Super-Stars, which is run by Gemini Gymnastics Club in Blackfriars Road, travelled

The youngsters – trained by Connie Neale and Samantha Momber – achieved second place in their category after months of preparation.

They now hope to replicate the success at competitions in July and October.
