STAFF from Bakers Dolphin in Weston swapped their coaches for a dragon boat to raise money for 1st Nailsea Scout Group.
The 16 rowers and one drummer sped through Bristol’s harbour in the dragon boat raise raising 4,000 for the scouts.
The 1st Nailsea Scout Group is currently fund-raising to replace its training and activity centre in Clevedon Road.
To help with the cause, Bakers Dolphin has adopted the group as its charity for the year. Amanda Harrington, sales and marketing director from the firm, said: “We know how important the 1st Nailsea Scout Group is to the town as there are 240 young people aged between six and 14 that use the centre.
