Cash boost for air ambulance
GENEROUS members of the Lions Club of Nailsea handed over 725 to the Great Western Air Ambulance Trust.
The group raised the cash by putting on a pantomime starring the popular Chris Harris.
The trust relies on donations to keep the service running. The air ambulance treats patients at the scene of an accident, carries specialist doctors or paramedics, and can reach a patient anywhere within North Somerset, Bristol, Gloucestershire or Wiltshire in less than 20 minutes.
