PORTISHEAD girl and carnival organiser Wendy Watkins wed her partner of seven years, Gareth Yandell, at the Methodist Church in Portishead.
Wendy, was accompanied down the aisle by the couple’s 21-month-old son Alfie, wearing a blue pin stripe suit, and was proudly given away by her dad Garth.
Gareth was accompanied by his best man and brother, Mike Yandell.
The couple, who live in Brampton Court, held a reception at The White Lion Mezze and an evening celebration in a marquee at Gordano Rugby Club.
The couple, who will be honeymooning later in the year, spent some time at Raymond Blanc’s Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons near Oxford before getting back to work and carnival duties.
