EMERGENCY services are helping to extract a car from a motorway ditch this afternoon (Monday).
The police were called at 4pm to the Clevedon turn-off of the M5 northbound and arrived on scene with the ambulance, and the fire service is on its way.
Highways Agency officers will take over from the police in due course, as the car is off the carriageway not obstructing traffic.
A police spokesman said the driver does not appear to be injured.
