A ROAD has been closed in Clevedon after a car crashed into a building this afternoon (Wed).
The fire service, police and paramedics have been at the scene in Park Road since about 2.45pm.
The female driver of the car has been treated by ambulance staff and firefighters are awaiting the arrival of a structural engineer to assess whether the affected building is safe to enter.
Meanwhile, anyone who was inside the building at the time has been evacuated. Park Road will remain closed until it is deemed safe to reopen.
